Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, has hailed the outgoing Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, on his appointment as the Chief of Staff to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Sharing a photograph of himself and Gbajabiamila on his Facebook handle on Friday, Sanwo-Olu wrote,
“Congratulations to my brother and friend #femigbaja on your appointment as Chief of Staff by H.E President #officialABAT.
“Your leadership as Speaker of the House of Reps has been remarkable, and I have no doubt that you’ll excel in this new role. I wish you success in driving progress for our nation.
“Congratulations also to Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia and George Akume on becoming Deputy Chief of Staff and SGF respectively.
“I’m certain you’ll lead your offices with integrity and efficiency.”
Gbajabiamila is expected to resume office in the 14th of June, 2023.
