Charly Boy finally visits renamed ‘Olamide Baddo bus stop’

Veteran Entertainer Charly Boy has visited the bus stop that once bore his name, which has been renamed the ‘Olamide Baddo Bus Stop’.

Sharing a video of his visit, the 75-year-old, also known as Area Fada, laughed at those attempting to “show Fada power” with the name change.

He went on to poke fun at the situation, joking that the “Emperor of Nigeria” might soon rename other things landmarks, suggesting an airport could be named after a DJ or the National Assembly might be called “Comedy Central.”

Despite the change, Charly Boy insisted he remains unbothered and simply “cruising through life.”

He also added: “Life too short to dey vex for bus stop name change, when I never chop.”

Sharing the video on his Instagram handle, Charly Boy wrote: “My people, U can already guess where your Area Fada dey?

“Olamide Baddo Bus Stop! Yes o, na the same bus stop wey una sabi since… now na Baddo get am. Street na street, e no get age limit, abi?

“I just dey inside car dey laugh yeye people wey wan show Fada power.

“The Emperor of Nigeria go soon rename everywhere. Next thing, dem go name airport after one DJ, then call National Assembly ‘Comedy Central’. Yeye dey smell.

“For me? I still go dey fresh, I still dey cruise, and I still no send anybody wey no like am. Life too short to dey vex for bus stop name change, when I never chop.”
