A video capturing the moment the entire staff of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) celebrated the departure of their recently dismissed leader, A.G. Abubakar, has surfaced on social media.
President Bola Tinubu announced the removal of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of agencies falling under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment, and this included the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
CAC workers celebrate removal of Abubakar as Registrar General
In their jubilation over Abubakar’s exit, the staff displayed a banner labeling their former boss as a ‘vicious tyrant registrar,’ who will be remembered for his ‘backwardness, power abuse, and sadism.’
The banner inscription reads: “The entire staff of the Corporate Affairs Commission celebrates the ignominious departure of a tyrannical registrar general, A.G. Abubakar, whose autocratic rule of 3 years and 9 months ended on October 13, 2023.
A.G. Abubakar, the former registrar general, will be remembered for his abuse of power, regressive leadership, authoritarianism, falsehoods, impunity, divisive management style, mischief, high-level corruption, sadism, nepotism, disregard for staff welfare, witch hunts, illegal actions, vindictiveness, financial mismanagement, physical abuse, and arrogance. Thanks be to God Almighty, the Corporate Affairs Commission is finally liberated.”
