Alhaji Aminu Dantata, who passed away on Saturday in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, has been buried on Tuesday at the Al-Baqi Cemetery in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
The funeral prayers, known as Jana’iza, were held after the Maghrib prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque in the Islamic holy city.
His son, Alhaji Tajudeen Dantata, nephew, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, and other family members, accompanied the late patriarch’s body, which arrived in Madinah on Tuesday morning.
A Federal Government delegation attended the funeral, having departed Nigeria on Sunday and arrived in Madinah early Monday.
