Bayo Omoboriowo, the photographer of former Nigerian president Major General Muhammadu Buhari, (retd.) has shared his last official photo of the former president.
On Wednesday, the photographer posted his last portrait of Buhari on his Twitter page, claiming that it depicted Buhari making gestures in response to prayers from visitors at his residence in Daura, Katsina State on the 30th of May, 2023.
He wrote,
“CLOSING THE CURTAIN: President Muhammad Buhari gestures in response to prayers by visitors to his home in Daura. 30th May 2023. The above is my last official image of Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of NIGERIA (2015-2023). Thank you and God bless Nigeria.”
It could be recalled that Muhammadu Buhari handed over to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday at Eagle Square in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory on the 29th of May, 2023.
