Obinna Nwafor, who is better known as Saint Obi, a renowned Nollywood actor, film producer, and director has passed away after a prolonged illness.
The actor was reported to have died on May 7th at the home of one of his siblings in Jos.
The reason for the week-long delay in making the news of his death official was said to be due to a disagreement among his siblings. Further details regarding the actor’s death have not been disclosed.
Saint Obi rose to prominence in his role in Zeb Eiro’s ‘Sakobi’ and went on to feature in over 100 movies including Candle Light, Goodbye Tomorrow and Heart of Gold.
