A Former Big Brother Naija star, Tacha Akide, is set to put Nigeria on the global map with the biggest 3-day Beauty Festival and an ambitious Guinness World Record attempt for the most makeovers in 24 hours.
The event will take place from October 10th–12th, 2025, at the John Randle Centre for Yorubá Culture & History, Lagos.
According to Tacha, the festival will be more than just a beauty showcase, describing it as “a powerful convergence of culture, creativity, commerce, and national pride.”
Alongside the record-breaking attempt, the festival will feature:
Makeup, skincare, hair, fashion & wellness exhibitions.
Empowerment workshops and training sessions.
Business hack seminars and networking opportunities
Tacha emphasized that the initiative will spotlight Nigeria’s booming beauty industry, showcasing its potential as a driver of economic growth and international influence.
