Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos state Governor hosted some Nollywood actors and actresses in Lagos State.
The governor who took to his verified Facebook handle shared some photos today, Tuesday from the scene. The governor noted that the dinner came up on Monday night in recognition of their contributions to the growth of the film industry.
Mr Sanwo-Olu also disclosed that he made provision for a health insurance scheme for the filmmakers to ensure they have adequate medical care.
According to him “I hosted veteran Nollywood filmmakers to a dinner on Monday night in appreciation of their contributions to the growth of the industry.
“I used the opportunity to institute a health insurance scheme for them to ensure they are well covered for adequate medical care.”
