Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Sunday led a group of old members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to visit Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in a show of unity and to formally welcome new members who recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The entire structure of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State had announced their defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday, April 23.
The development followed an enlarged stakeholders’ meeting held in Asaba on Wednesday, where key party figures endorsed the transition.
Governor Oborevwori, who secured his governorship under the PDP in the 2023 elections, has now been received into the APC by top officials of the ruling party. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>>
