On Friday, a single-car accident at Iyana-Ilogbo on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway resulted in the death of two individuals and injuries sustained by two others.
Mr Anthony Uga, the Sector Commander of FRSC in Ogun State verified on saturday that there were four individuals- three males and a female -present in the Mitsubishi SUV during the collision.
According to him, two men in the vehicle perished and a male along with the sole female occupant suffered differing levels of injuries.
“The family members of the victims took away the corpses, whereas the survivors were transported to a hospital close by,” clarified Uga.
He believed that the accident was primarily caused by a mechanical malfunction.
