A man only known as Paul received a nine-month prison sentence for attacking a member of the state Ministry of Environment and Water Resources’ Kick Against Indiscipline unit.
In an attempt to arrest him for not using the pedestrian bridge, Paul allegedly attacked the KAI officer, according to state Commissioner of Environment Tokunbo Wahab, who made this revelation.
Paul was given a nine-month prison sentence after being charged in the state mobile court, according to Wahab.
He wrote
‘’Paul was apprehended on the 16th of April for not using the pedestrian bridge at Agbado Oke Odo and in the process, he assaulted and wounded the enforcement personnel of @LAGESCOfficial (KAI). The Mobile Court sitting at Oshodi yesterday sentenced him to 9 months imprisonment.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]
