The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, has asserted that the ruling party remains unified and purpose-driven despite recent internal friction.
Yilwatda shared this outlook during an interview on TVC’s Politics On Sunday, where he discussed party solidarity, governance achievements, and the roadmap for the 2027 general elections.
He stated that ongoing reconciliation efforts within the APC have been successful, and that a shared commitment to national development has been crucial in preserving party stability.
On governance, the chairman highlighted the reform agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, pointing to economic policies, infrastructure projects, and security initiatives as evidence of progress, while also recognising the need for consistent execution.
Regarding the 2027 elections, Yilwatda said the APC is ramping up its grassroots mobilisation, increasing youth involvement, and prioritising the fulfilment of its electoral promises as core components of its strategy.
He dismissed opposition narratives of a divided APC, characterising the party as “more united and focused than ever.”
The interview has elicited mixed reactions online, with party supporters endorsing his positive assessment, while critics questioned whether pressing issues like inflation and insecurity were being sufficiently addressed.
