Ahead of Friday’s Judgement, IPOB Sends Strong Warning To Police Over Blackmail

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Thursday alleged that the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) is blackmailing its members ahead of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, upcoming supreme court’s ruling on Friday.

Freshreporters News reports that the group made the statement while refuting reports of police raids on Eastern Security Network (ESN) camps in Imo and Anambra states. IPOB spokesperson Emma Powerful insisted that contrary to reports ESN had no camps in the area.

The group warned the Nigerian security forces to stop blackmailing ESN and IPOB to prove they are doing their job.

The statement read in part: “As expected, with the approach of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case before the Supreme Court of Nigeria, the Nigerian Police Force has launched an extortion campaign against IPOB”….[CONTINUE READING HERE]>>

“Their fabricated and fallacious claims of raiding ESN camp is a lie and propaganda targeted at blackmailing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu before the Supreme Court judgment on Friday, December 15, 2023. Moreso, to put fears on Ndigbo who are coming home for the Christmas season.”
