The teachers and students that were kidnapped from Emure School in Ekiti have been released.
Nine pupils and teachers who were abducted in their school bus on Emure Eporo Road last week were freed at around 2:00 am today.
According to Mr. Adebayo Oluwatosin, the Chairman of Emure Local Government, who confirmed the details to Radio Nigeria, the victims are now at Elemure’s palace in Emure, Ekiti.
He claimed that eight people were rescued and the driver died.
