Tragically, an ambush in the Delta State waterways has left 22 troops and other people dead in a terrible sequence of events.
Major Shafa, Major Obi, Captain Zakari, Lieutenant Colonel AH Ali, and a few additional troops whose identities have not yet been revealed are among the slain heroes.
The ambush happened during a rescue operation to the Okuama village in the local government area of Ughelli South.
