Funke Akindele, a nollywood Actress and politician has solicited prayers at the annual gathering of Celestial Church of Christ members in Imeko, Ogun State.
The deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, while addressing the congregation first sang a song that she said was a favourite of hers.
In a trending video shared on Christmas Eve, Saturday on Facebook, Funke Akindele was sighted saying, “Anything we do we must put God first. We have to be must be well mannered. We must behave like those who wear white cloth. We have to behave like a ‘Celestial’ member.
“We must not forget our source. Don’t forget your God. God be with you. All I want is prayer. Keep praying for me.”
