At least 17 children have di€d in a fire at an Islamic school in northern Nigeria, officials say.
Several other pupils were injured and rushed to health centres in the town of Kauran Namoda, Zamfara state, for treatment.
It is believed that the fire broke out in a nearby house in the night and spread to the school early morning on Wednesday while the children, believed to be aged 10-16, were sleeping. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
