Ten people were reported killed and twenty injured when a commercial vehicle that was travelling on the Baga route in Kukawa LGA of Borno exploded.
Information surfaced that on Wednesday, the car struck an improvised explosive device (IED) at the side of the road and burst into flames.
It was learned that the vehicle stepped on the IED planted by Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists near the Mosquito camp for the soldiers of Sector 3 Operation Hadin Kai.
Details of the incident remains sketchy, but it was gathered that the injured victims were taken to Monguno where they are receiving treatment. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
