You can’t keep att@cking Tinubu’s foreign trips when you have foreign-based children — Reno Omokri blasts Peter Obi

The Former Presidential Aide, Reno Omokri, has criticised the Labour Party’s former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, over his position on President Bola Tinubu’s foreign trips.

Omokri questioned why Obi’s family members are not in Nigeria but abroad.

According to Omokri, Obi cannot continue criticising President Tinubu’s foreign trips when he has foreign-based children.

He disclosed this in a post he shared via his X handle on Monday, 6th of January 2025.

The post reads:

“Seyi Tinubu was by his father’s side throughout the campaigns. Seyi Tinubu’s wife and children were presented to Nigerians. Seyi Tinubu’s businesses are known to Nigerians. Peter Obi keeps knocking Tinubu over his foreign trips. So, why is Peter Obi’s own family not in Nigeria? Why was his son, Oseloka, not by his side during the campaigns like Tinubu’s and Atiku’s children were?

“Obi cannot keep attacking President Tinubu’s foreign trips when he has foreign-based children. He who comes to equity must come with clean hands. Peter Obi aspires to lead Nigeria and has been attacking Tinubu for his foreign trips. Why is Obi’s own family based abroad? Is Peter Obi ashamed of his son’s lifestyle?
