Legendary Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu has applauded music star, Yemi Alade for representing African culture through her outfit at the 67th Grammy Awards.
Agu praised Alade for showcasing African culture on the global stage through her attire.
Agu’s commendation of the music star was disclosed in a video he shared on his Instagram handle on Wednesday, February 05.
In the video, Agu described Alade as a “beautiful queen” and a role model worthy of emulation.
The actor said:
“Yemi Alade, you are a queen. The queen you think you are. She may not have won the Grammy, but she won my heart. If there’s nobody to say it, I, Chief Chiwetalu, will give you your flowers.
“Not only did she represent Afrobeat, but she also represented the African culture. Through her attire at the Grammys Award, she is putting the African culture on the world map. Her outfit was screaming, ‘I did not come to impress you, I know my roots’. We talk about how decent and natural she has been as an artist. Or how beautiful she is as a woman. The body is tea. How talented, disciplined, reserved, established, and humble she is as a lady.
“Yemi, keep on being the role model you are to so many young girls. Chief Chiwetala admires and loves you so much. I pray you find your Johnny at the right time.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
