WWE Legend Virgil Passes On At 61

WWE legend, Virgil, popular for being the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase’s personal bodyguard and assistant, was confirmed to have passed away on Wednesday by his family. Not too old—61, to be exact.

Virgil, whose real name is Michael Jones, has struggled with major health problems recently, such as multiple strokes and a diagnosis of dementia.

Following his 1985 debut in the sport, Jones went on to compete for organizations such as Championship Wrestling Association, where he won the heavyweight championship and the tag team championship alongside Rocky Johnson.

After that, he joined the WWE, where he became well-known alongside DiBiase. He frequently carried his money and shielded him from opponents before eventually betraying him at Summerslam 1991 and winning WrestleMania VII.

Following an abbreviated tenure with the National Wrestling Conference, Jones made his WCW debut as Vincent, joining nWo as the chief of security. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
