Women should vote based on their husbands choices – Shehu Sani advises northern women

Shehu Sani, a former Nigerian lawmaker, has advised that many women in the northern part of the country should vote for whoever their husbands support in the forthcoming general election.

The former Kaduna lawmaker made this known via his Twitter handle on Tuesday.

Sani also noted that the northern women are the most solid group of voters in the country.

He said ,”Women are the most solid group of voters in Northern Nigeria.Their queue is longer than the men’s queue in most places.

“However, many vote for the choices of their husbands.The single ones vote for where they are hopeful.”

Shehu Sani, former Nigerian lawmaker, who also advised Nigerians against voting for a candidate because their various religious leaders asked them to.

He noted that electing a wrong leader in the coming election would plunge the country into another four years of darkness if possible eight of total darkness.

The presidential election is on Saturday, 25th of February, 2023, another day to mark history in Nigeria. Shehu spilled that people should vote through their conscience and experience so far.

According to him, “On Saturday, this country has a date with history. Don’t vote for a Candidate because your Mosques or Churches asked you to do so.

“Be guided by your conscience and experience & elect a competent leader. A wrong choice is another 4 years of journey into darkness.”
