Wizkid Announces Break from Music Considers Career In Football, Golf

Wizkid, the popular Nigerian artist, revealed on Sunday his intention to step away from the music industry.

He shared this news through a series of Instagram posts, mentioning that he plans to go on a four- or five-year hiatus.

Interestingly, he’s contemplating exploring football or golf during his time away.

In a somewhat casual style, Wizkid wrote, “I’ll be back in four years, so take it easy and enjoy a little of my cash, or maybe five years, and I might even kick around a soccer ball now. Alternatively, I could start playing golf.”

“FIFA or wrestling, anyone? You’re all acting crazy! Everyone’s gone nuts. On a serious note, I hope you all are doing well, both physically and mentally, and that you’re taking time to cherish moments with your loved ones.”

This isn’t the first time Wizkid has declared a break from the music scene.
