Wike Slams Tambuwal Over Withdrawal Few Hours To PDPs a presidential Primary

The Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike has on Monday, 30th of May, 2022 slammed his Sokoto counterpart, Aminu Tambuwal over his withdrawal from the presidential primary race under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP on Saturday, 28th of May, 2022.

Tambuwal withdrew from the PDPs presidential primary race few hours to the party’s primary election, tells his supporters to vote Atiku.

This has sparked up reaction from Wike who is the sitting governor of rivers state.

Wike speaking said, “I’ve never seen how people can violate procedure, guideline. Somebody has spoken, it’s at that point he was speaking that he can say I’m withdrawing. You don’t call him back.”

“I just said, look, this our party must not be destroyed. I would have left where I was sitting down and say no, this convention can’t go on except you allow me to talk and I would have flatten that they say is a human being (Tambuwal), I would have flattened him.”

“When you see people, a sitting governor won election with 300 votes, which votes will he give? So it’s God’s will, let’s not bother ourselves so much.”

Atiku Abubakar won the PDPs primary election knocking Wike off with 371 votes while Nyeson wike came out with 237 votes
