The Nigerian actress Rita Dominic has given an explanation for her lengthy wait to be married.
In 2022, Dominic, aged 46 years old, tied the knot with her spouse, Fidelis Anosike.
She explained that she took her time because she wanted to make sure she was making the proper choice in an interview with Joy 99.7 FM.
She continued by saying she had always desired the man of her dreams rather than the men that society had selected for her.
“I wanted to be sure that I was married for the right reasons, not for the reasons that stemmed from societal pressure,” said the actress.
“Even before I got married, the pressure was there for years, but I just turned a deaf ear.
“Like I always say, I will marry the man of my dreams and not the man society dreams for me.
“If anything goes wrong tomorrow, I will be the one left to pick up the pieces, not the society.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]
