Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, has accepted to settle the naira misuse accusations brought against him outside of court with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The socialite’s trial proceeded at the Federal High court in Lagos on Thursday, May 2.
The trial adjourned the case to June 5 in order to hear the settlement report following the parties’ agreement to resolve the case out of court during today’s session.
Cubana Chief Priest was charged by the EFCC on three counts of allegedly spraying and tampering with Naira notes during a social gathering at the Eko hotel in Lagos on April 17.
After entering a not guilty plea, he was given N10 million in bail, accompanied by two responsible sureties contributing the same amount each. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
