AY Makun, a well-known stand-up comedian, has announced the end of his long-standing feud with former friend and colleague Basketmouth, urging for peace between them.

The origins of their 17-year-long beef were previously addressed by AY in an interview, wherein he stated that Basketmouth had refused to reconcile with him.
During a recent comedy show, AY Makun (whose real name is Richard Makun) brought up the issue once more, extending an olive branch and offering a gesture of peace.

He clarified that their relationship should not be referred to as “beef,” citing examples such as the infamous rivalry between Tupac Shakur and B.I.G. in the 1990s that were more fitting of that term.
AY Makun concluded the show by saying,
“if you see Basketmouth, tell him he’s my gee for life.”
