The Super Falcons have been received at the State House in Abuja by President Bola Tinubu and his wife, Oluremi Tinubu.
The team returned to Nigeria today after their landmark victory on Saturday in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) final held in Rabat, Morocco.
The victorious Nigerian team, led by Captain Rasheedat Ajibade and head coach Justin Madugu, arrived at the Presidential Villa at 4:35 p.m. on Monday to a warm reception.
Upon getting to the residential villa, the team were heard chanting the “Na our mama be this o” song to acknowledge the support of First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu.
