VP Shettima visits fl00d scene in Maiduguri

The Nigeria Vice President Kashim Shettima has visited Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital following the flood incident that rocked major parts of the city on Tuesday, 10th of September, 2024.

Shettima after arriving Maiduguri paid a courtesy call to the Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Ibn Umar Garba Al Amin El-Kanemi to express solidarity and discuss the impact of the flood disaster on local communities.

This was disclosed in a video by the VP’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Stanley Nkwocha, on Tuesday.

The caption reads:

“Vice President Kashim Shettima has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Shehu of Borno, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garba Al Amin El-Kanemi, during his visit to Maiduguri.
