Nigeria Vice President Kashim Shettima has departed Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, where he went to represent President Bola Tinubu at the inauguration and naming ceremony of a $315 million oil production and storage facility, for Saudi Arabia.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications (Office of The Vice President), Stanley Nkwocha, had on Friday, 13th of December 2024, revealed that Shettima will travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah, the Lesser Hajj, in the holy cities of Madinah and Makkah from December 16 to 19, 2024.
The Vice President’s departure from Dubai was disclosed in a video Nkwocha shared via his X handle on Monday, 16th of December 2024.
