Yul Edochie, the talented nollywood Actor, on Tuesday, countered Popular skit maker, Debo Adedayo widely known as Mr Macaroni, over his admonition to Nigerians against the 2023 presidential election not to sell their votes, saying, Nigerians are the ones who demand money.
Earlier hour on Tuesday, Mr Macaroni Who is also an activist via his twitter handle advised Nigerians to avoid Nigeria politicians who offer them money in exchange for their votes, claiming that they would not serve them, when they get into office.
He said, “Any politician offering you money in exchange for your vote is not going to serve you. They are only investing. If they get into office, they will loot the Nation’s treasury which rightfully belongs to the people. Do not vote in thieves and looters! They are destroyers.”
Reacting and quoting his tweet, the talented nollywood actor, Yul Edochie disclosed that he used to think that Nigeria politicians were the ones offering money until he got into politics and realised people were the ones demanding money.
Countering Mr Macaroni, the nollywood actor, Edochie said, “I used to think it’s the politicians that offer money until I joined politics and ran for office.
“My eyes opened. It’s mainly the people that demand money from the politicians and put them in a tight corner where they must find money by all means to share or fail.”
