This was conveyed in a statement issued out by the spokesperson of the Ministry of foreign affairs, Amb. Eche Abu-Obe dated Monday, 5th of August, 2024.
The statement reads,
“There is an increased risk of viol£nce and disorder occasioned by the recent riots in the UK, stemming from the k+lling of three young girls at a concert.
The viol£nce has assumed dangerous proportions, as evidenced by reported att@cks on law enforcement agents and damage to infrastructure.
To this end, citizens are advised to be extra vigilant and take measures as follows: Avoid political processions and protests, rallies or marches.
Avoid crowded areas and large gatherings. And vigilant and self-aware at all times.
Demonstrations by far-right and other extra-parliamentary groups in parts of the UK in recent weeks have been large and, in some instances, unruly.
These disturbances have only been aggravated by the unfortunate d£@ths of the three girls, spawning an anti-immigration narrative with particular emphasis on targeting Muslim immigrants or persons of colour,” the statement added.
It would be recalled that a large crowd of anti-Muslim protesters clashed with police last Tuesday in a northern English town where three girls were st@bbed to d£ath and five other children critically wounded during an att@ck on a Taylor Swift-themed event on Monday. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
