Yemi Alade, Veteran Nigerian singer, has supported the controversial Nigerian rapper, Emeka Akumefule Popularly known as Blaqbonez, who accused some of their music colleagues of the use streaming farms to inflate their streaming numbers.
Streaming farms are services that play songs on existing online platforms to massively inflate the number of times people have streamed a music.
Rapper Blaqbonez via a tweet shared that singers who use streaming farms will be exposed soon, saying, “All of you using streaming farms would be exposed soon.”
He also likened them to popular convicted fraudster, Ramon Abbas Popularly known as Hushpuppi. “Awon hushpuppi,” he added.
Yemi Alade, who responded to his tweet, “Never saw a ‘realler’ tweet! Somebody please frame this tweet for me. I want to hang it on my wall.”
