VDM refuses to address reps; says Bobrisky not present

Nigerian Controversial social media critic, Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has denied making any statements during an investigation at the National Assembly.

VeryDarkMan stated that he would not speak personally, choosing to communicate only through his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, until Bobrisky was also present at the investigation.

In a video shared by The Cable on Monday, 30th of September, 2024,VDM said, “I don’t see any reason why I should be here if Bobrisky is not also present.”

“My lawyer would be the one to talk and I will not say a word because I will not want to walk out on people that are old enough to be my father.

“So I won’t say anything until, Bobrisky is here and the EFCC chairman is here.”

VDM’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, while also reacting said: “He has not said he’s not going to speak. We came up with almost everything that is needed by this committee. “

“So, he’s not saying ‘I don’t want to assist the committee or I don’t want to talk’, he is just saying because that person who should be here, who is not here, who has sent a lawyer to represent he or she, that he too is not going to talk. “

“That he’s going to talk through his counsel, that’s all.”

VDM also added saying:

“The man from my state said if I don’t speak, they’ll move a motion to detain me, I won’t mind being detained. Also in the voice note, Bobrisky said something about a godfather, it’s obvious there is a godfather somewhere who might tell him not to come, and nothing would have happened. “

“Because he has disrespected everybody here by not coming, and you’re trying to force me to talk and you’re already throwing a little threat that you will detain me.
