US Rap Mogul, 50 Cent Tenders Apology To Colleague, Megan Thee Stallion Over Tory Lanez Comment

Curtis Jackson, a Veteran American rapper, popularly known as 50 Cent, has apologised to colleague, Megan Thee Stallion, for expressing disbelief about the nature of her relationship with the Popular rapper Tory Lanez, who shot her.

In December 2022, the rap mogul, 50 Cent compared Megan Thee Stallion to Jussie Smollet, the former ‘Empire’ actor who lied about being physically attacked in a 2019 hate crime saying “I’m confused all this sh*t going around I don’t know what to think. LOL,” in a tweet.

However, in an interview on Wednesday where 50 cent was featured, he tendered an apology.

He said, “I’m gonna apologise to Megan Thee Stallion. I said some things, and it was because, on social media I posted things that — when she was with Gayle [King] — she said, ‘Were you intimate with Tory Lanez?’ And she said, ‘What?’ and it was like, ‘No.’ And I was like, ‘Ah, she lying.’-At that point I knew she was lying, it wouldn’t be no reason for them to be around each other. From that, it felt like she was lying, to me.” he said.

The rap mogul added, “I should apologise to her, because when I heard the phone conversation(between Lanez and Meg’s former best friend Kelsey Harris). That made me feel like, ‘Oh, now I know what happened.’ I’m sure that was probably what swayed people in court too.”

Meanwhile, Tony Lanez has been found guilty of assault where he shot Megan Thee Stallion with a semiautomatic firearm; carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle; and discharging a firearm with gross negligence in America.
