Dr. Kamar Abdulkadir, a lecturer in the University of Maiduguri’s Department of Physical Health Education, was brutally killed in his office by unknown assassins.
It was gathered that Abdulkadir was slain by an assailant who broke into his office and used a knife and hammer to attack him.
According to reliable sources, the victim’s killers had inflicted several injuries on his body when he was subsequently discovered dead in a pool of blood.
The sources stated that “His hands were peeled off when he tried to stop the attackers from stabbing him. They also used a hammer to smash his head and his spinal cord, killing him instantly.
He added that the deceased’s vehicle and other valuables were carted away by the unknown assailants, suspected to be armed robbers.
