Students of the College of Medicine in the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have taken to the campus to protest a hike in the hostel fees.
The school management has reportedly proposed new fees of N80,000 for two semesters and N100,000 for a full academic year, an increase from the previous N65,000 fee agreed upon last session.
In a video shared via X page, on Wednesday, 23rd of October 2024, the students were seen questioning the reasons behind the fee hike.
One of the students questioned the school authority, saying:
