The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, has congratulated the President-elect of the United States of America, Donald Trump, on his election victory.
Starmer’s congratulatory message was contained in a statement he personally signed on Wednesday, 6th of November 2024.
The statement reads:
“Congratulations President-elect Trump on your historic election victory. I look forward to working with you in the years ahead.
“As the closest of allies, we stand shoulder to shoulder in defence of our shared values of freedom, democracy and enterprise.
