Troops of the Nigerian Army have raided a suspected Eastern Security Network (ESN) camp in Ugwunagbo Local Government Area of Abia State, killing one suspected militant and recovering a cache of weapons and cash.
The troops recovered a significant arsenal, including:
1. One rocket-propelled grenade (RPG)
2. One general-purpose machine gun (GPMG)
3. Four AK-47 rifles
4. One G3 rifle
5. Three pump-action shotguns
6. 800 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition
7. 648 rounds of 7.62mm NATO ammunition
Additionally, the troops seized N11.75 million and $27,000 in cash, as well as logistics and communication equipment believed to be used by the group.
