Troops N£utralize T£rrorists in Kaduna, Seize Arms, and Dismantle Administrative Hideouts

Nigerian Army troops stationed in Kaduna State for counterterrorism operations have killed a number of terrorists, stopped the activities of violent extremists, and prevented the kidnapping of farmers in the state’s Giwa Local Government Area.

The operation was launched against their stronghold based on intelligence reports that the terrorists were using Basurfe village, southwest of Kidandan, as their administrative haven. An ambush was launched against the forces as they neared the settlement, but the troops’ tactical skill allowed them to push through and drive the bandits away.

When the fighting reached a fever pitch, the soldiers saw that some of the terrorists were trying to flee on motorbikes. They confronted them head-on and killed two of the terrorists. In addition, two AK-47 weapons, three magazines, and a motorcycle were taken by the courageous soldiers.

The forces’ discovery of the terrorists’ administrative haven, located on a tactical high ground, gave the operation even more impetus. A Semi Automatic Pump-action rifle, sixteen rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), two Baofeng communication radio sets, medical supplies, tobacco hand gloves, and face masks were all taken by the troops after they launched a fierce attack and drove the enclave from its position.
