A football match in honour of late Brazil legendary player, Pelé, was on Monday played at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna State.
Senator Shehu Sani, the state’s former lawmaker who was present for the tribute match disclosed that the late Brazilian footballer, played in the same stadium in the 1970s.
Shehu Sani made this known on Monday via his Twitter handle.
He also shared a picture from the match, and said, “Pelé was in Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna in 1972. Two Kaduna Football Clubs played a match at the same venue today, as a tribute to the original greatest of all times.”
