In the early hours of the morning, a huge fire spread through parts of Aleshinloye Market in Ibadan, Oyo State, causing a lot of damage.
The fire started around midnight and destroyed many properties, with losses estimated to be in the millions of Naira.
Confirming the incident, Yemi Akinyinka, the General Manager of the Oyo State Fire Service, revealed that firefighting teams were battling the inferno at the scene.
Akinyinka said,
“men are currently working at Aleshinloye market. We thank the management of SWEETCO for releasing their truck and men. Very massive.
