Singer Ayra Starr has expressed her joy that touring with veteran American hip hop star Chris Brown was a profound eye-opener.
She said this during her appearance at Capital XTRA following the release of her new album, ‘The Year I Turned 21’.
Ayra Starr discussed her tour with Chris Brown highlighting how it served as a profound eye-opener to the intricacies of the music industry and the art of stage performance.
She said:
“Touring with Chris Brown, I learnt so much from stage performance to engineering, lighting, I have never seen anything like that before. “
“He is such an amazing performer. I was backstage with engineers, seeing how the show was going on. It was a lot of work”.
She opened up about the pain of losing her father, explaining how his memory continues to inspire her music. She also emphasised her commitment to working hard and letting her faith guide her path.
