President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday received prominent Nigerian businessman Tony Elumelu at the State House in Abuja, as part of ongoing consultations with key private sector leaders contributing to the country’s economic advancement.
Elumelu, who chairs Heirs Holdings, Transcorp, and United Bank for Africa, and is also founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, held talks with the President on the role of the private sector in driving national development and economic reform.
The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration between government and business leaders in strengthening investment, creating jobs, and empowering entrepreneurs across Nigeria.
Elumelu’s business and philanthropic initiatives have been instrumental in promoting youth entrepreneurship and improving access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises.
