Tinubu to Lead Nigerian Business Titans for Presidential Round Table in India

Tinubu Leads Dangote, Otedola, Ajaere, 35 Other Industry Leaders On Presidential Round Table in India

President Bola Tinubu is gearing up to head a formidable delegation comprising 38 influential business leaders and industry titans from Nigeria’s private sector.

This delegation is slated to participate in a high-level Presidential Round Table event in India.

Among the notable personalities accompanying President Tinubu are Aliko Dangote, Africa’s wealthiest individual and Chairman of the Dangote Group; Femi Otedola, Chairman of the Femi Otedola Foundation; and Chidi Ajaere, Chairman/CEO of the GIG Group.

Details of this mission were revealed through a formal letter sent by the Nigerian High Commissioner to India, Ambassador Ahmed Sule.

In this letter, addressed to the Indian High Commission in Abuja, a request for entry visas for the delegation’s leading business figures and CEOs was made.

The letter, titled “Request for Appropriate Entry Visas for Members of the Nigerian Private Sector to Enable Them to Attend the Presidential Round Table and Conference at Le Meridian Hotel, New Delhi on 6th September 2023,” explained: “I am writing to inform you that the following members of the Nigerian Private Sector will be traveling to New Delhi to participate in the Nigeria-India Presidential Round Table and Conference. This event is organized by the High Commission in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Nigeria-India Business Council (NIBC). The conference will be addressed by His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

This significant event is being coordinated by the Nigerian High Commission in India, in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Nigeria-India Business Council (NIBC). President Tinubu will deliver an address during the round table discussion.

In addition to this round table event, President Tinubu has also been extended a special invitation to attend the forthcoming G-20 Summit in New Delhi, India. The summit is scheduled to unfold from September 9th to 10th.
