Presidential aide Daniel Bwala has dismissed speculation that President Bola Tinubu is in France for medical reasons, insisting the president is on a working visit.
Appearing on Sunday Politics on Channels Television, Bwala addressed the growing rumours circulating online about Tinubu’s health.
“The president did not go to see a doctor; he’s on a working visit, and we have been publishing his activities,” Bwala said.
President Tinubu departed Nigeria on April 2, 2025, for Paris, France. According to presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, the trip was for official duties and not health-related.
