President Bola Tinubu, the newly elected President of Nigeria, welcomed one of his key challengers in the February 25, 2023, Presidential Election, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, to the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who emerged as the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) during the election, arrived at Aso Rock to engage in a constructive dialogue with President Tinubu.
Despite finishing fourth in the election, Kwankwaso’s visit to the Presidential Villa showcases a commitment to national cohesion and the spirit of democratic cooperation.
This meeting is not only the first encounter between the two political heavyweights since the election but also the first time a defeated presidential candidate has visited the president at Aso Rock.
