Tinubu Calls for Unity, Discipline as Osun APC Leaders Discuss Consensus Candidate

President Bola Tinubu has called on All Progressives Congress stakeholders in Osun State to prioritize unity, discipline, and consensus as the party strengthens its political framework ahead of upcoming elections.

Speaking during a meeting with key party leaders and aspirants at the State House, the President emphasized that cohesion is vital for the APC’s long-term stability in the state. He noted that peace and mutual respect among members would help solidify recent reconciliation efforts.

Tinubu stated that cooperation, not internal rivalry, will determine the party’s electoral success and urged all stakeholders to place the party’s interest above personal ambitions.

The President commended the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; the Progressive Governors Forum Chairman, Hope Uzodimma; and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, for their steady leadership throughout the consensus-building process.

APC chieftain Oyebamiji Bola, who attended the meeting, also praised fellow aspirants in Osun for their maturity and commitment to unity, describing their conduct as a display of brotherhood and shared sacrifice.

Reaffirming his dedication to party supremacy, Bola pledged full support for the consensus arrangement and vowed to help build a united and formidable APC in Osun State.
