Tinubu appoints Ja’afar Isa as Almajiri Commission Boss, Chooses Special Assistant

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Brigadier-General Lawal Ja’afar Isa (Rtd) as the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education.

Isa, a former Military Administrator of Kaduna State, brings extensive experience to the role.

FRESHREPORTERS NEWS reports that Tinubu also named Tijani Hashim Abbas as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Chieftaincy Matters. These appointments were announced by the President’s media aide, Ajuri Ngelale.

Tinubu expects the appointees to utilize their expertise in addressing crucial issues.

General Ja’afar Isa’s leadership and past role as Military Administrator, along with Alhaji Tijani Hashim Abbas’s position as Sarkin Sudan Kano, underscore their suitability for these important positions.

The President believes their experience will contribute significantly to the government’s efforts in ensuring comprehensive education for out-of-school children, crucial for the nation’s future.

The statement reads; “President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Brigadier-General Lawal Ja’afar Isa (Rtd) as Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education.

“The President has also approved the appointment of Alhaji Tijani Hashim Abbas as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Chieftaincy Matters.

“General Ja’afar Isa is a respected leader and was Military Administrator of Kaduna State from 1993 to 1996, while Alhaji Tijani Hashim Abbas is the Sarkin Sudan Kano.
