At least, three persons comprising passengers and drivers of two vehicles escaped death when a cement-loaded truck belonging to Dangote Group rammed into a taxi in the Panseke area of Abeokuta, Ogun State in the late hours of Thursday.
It was after the scene was visited the Dangote truck with registration number GRZ753XA, Kano, rammed into a taxi with registration number FFF197XB, Ogun, and crushed it against the culvert, thereby damaging its rear windshield of the taxi.
Ismat Abdulsalam, who’s an eye eyewitness, noted that the accident occurred when the Dangote truck tried to climb the hilly part of the road but lost control, then the weight of the load it was carrying forced it to reverse and it rammed into the taxi that was packed nearby.
